
The Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), a premier autonomous cancer research institution under the Department of Atomic Energy, has announced a vacancy at the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (HBCH&RC) in Muzaffarpur. The position is for a Project Research Scientist – I (Non-Medical) to work on an ICMR-funded project investigating genetic predictors in oral cancer patients.

Educational Requirements:
- Essential: Master’s Degree in Bioinformatics, Biological Sciences, or Life Sciences with at least 55% marks.
- Desirable Experience:
- Proficiency in cancer genomics and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analysis (Whole genome/exome/transcriptomic).
- Experience establishing in-house bioinformatics pipelines.
- Sound knowledge of Linux, scripting, and R programming.
- Candidates with 2 years of experience in academic institutions are preferred.
