Major Research Projects & Eligibility Areas
The institute is recruiting for 19 distinct projects. Key areas include:
- Pharmaceutical & Health: Global Vaccine Policies, Health Security, and Traditional Knowledge validation.
- Life Sciences & Botany: Digitization of the Raw Material Herbarium (RHMD), impact of science policy on making, and biodiversity communication.
- Engineering & Tech: Quantum Technologies ecosystem, IoT in sustainable agriculture, and sewage treatment decision tools.
- Data Science/AI: Patent quality analysis using Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL).
- Social Sciences: Women entrepreneurship in the S&T sector and rural development frameworks.

- Selection Process: Candidates will be evaluated based on their academic records, a possible written test, and a personal interview.
General Terms and Conditions
- Contractual Basis: The positions are temporary and co-terminus with the projects (initially until 31 March 2027).
- Age Limits: 35 years for Project Associates/Assistants and 40 years for Senior/Principal Associates and Scientists (Age relaxation applies as per Govt. rules).
- Required Documents: Candidates must bring a duly filled application form, original certificates, and a set of self-attested photocopies (proof of age, qualification, and experience).
- Experience: Only post-qualification experience will be counted. Internships or dissertations during the degree do not count as professional experience.
- Accommodation: No accommodation is provided; however, House Rent Allowance (HRA) is paid as per rules.
