AYUSH-CCRUM Funded Senior Research Fellow (SRF) Position at INST Mohali

The Institute of Nanoscience and Technology (INST), Mohali, has invited applications for a walk-in interview to select a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for a research project funded by AYUSH-CCRUM.

Project Details & Overview

Post: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Title of the Research Project: “Effect of unani formulations (Dawa-e-Sahaj, Jawarish-e-Mastagi, Qurs-e-Gul) for Inhibition of NLRP3 inflammasome activation: A strategy to mitigate inflammation for the therapy of Ulcerative Colitis disease”
Principal Investigator (PI): Dr. Rehan Khan, Scientist-D
Fellowship: Rs. 42,000/- per month + 18% HRA
Duration: Initially six months, extendable based on performance and fund availability.

Qualifications & Eligibility

Essential Qualifications: M.Pharm with not less than 60% marks or a CGPA of 8.0 or more, along with at least one publication in an SCI-indexed or Scopus-indexed journal and a minimum of one year of wet lab research experience.
Desirable Experience: Preference will be given to candidates who are GPAT qualified.
Age Limit: Not more than 32 years as of 15th October 2026 (relaxable for reserved categories as per Government of India rules).
