Ministry of Defence Announces Pharmacist Vacancies at ECHS Polyclinics

The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), under the Ministry of Defence, is inviting applications for 8 Pharmacist positions on a contractual basis at ECHS Polyclinics in Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Vidhyadhar Nagar, Chirawa, Bhuwana, Neem Ka Thana, Kotputli, Dausa, and Jaipur-III. The ECHS Central Organization, based in Delhi, operates under the Chief of Staff Committee through AG and DGDC&W in Army HQ, led by a serving Major General as Managing Director. ECHS, an attached office of the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DoESW), oversees 28 Regional Centres and 426 Polyclinics.

Age Limit: 56 years
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.Pharmacy from a recognized institute, OR
- 10+2 with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) from a recognized board AND a Diploma in Pharmacy from an institute recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India, with registration as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948.
Minimum Work Experience: 3 years
Desirable: Diploma or course in Specialty Pharmacy
Reservation for Ex-Servicemen: 70%
Salary: Rs. 28,100/- per month
Contract Duration: 11-12 months, renewable for an additional year or until reaching the maximum age, subject to performance and other conditions.
