Roles & Responsibilities of the Post Doctoral Fellow:
The successful candidate will be tasked with a wide range of responsibilities focused on cutting-edge research. Key duties include:
- Designing and executing sophisticated in-vitro studies, with a primary focus on immune system modulation using biotherapeutic or pharmaceutical approaches.
- Staying current with the latest scientific literature and applying this knowledge to drive research projects forward.
- Critically interpreting data, formulating conclusions, and effectively presenting research findings to internal teams and at professional forums.
- Working with a high degree of independence, demonstrating critical and creative thinking throughout the research process.
- Ensuring meticulous analysis of samples, timely recording and reporting of data, and submitting detailed records for verification.
- Contributing to the preparation of scientific protocols, reports, and manuscripts, including drafting and reviewing content.
- Managing cell culture maintenance and preparing and qualifying master and working cell banks.
- Collaborating seamlessly with various cross-functional teams to provide essential support for development projects.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed laboratory records in full compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Overseeing laboratory equipment and managing inventory.
- Adhering to and promoting safe workplace practices and participating in organizational safety and quality initiatives.
- Executing functional unit activities as required to meet the needs of the organization.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. in a relevant field such as Immunology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related discipline. While a strong academic background is essential, the role is open to fresh graduates as well as those with up to one year of experience in complex immunological assays.
