ILBS Announces Walk-in-Interview for Research Associate III Position

The Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS) is holding a walk-in-interview to fill a temporary vacancy for a Research Associate III. This role, part of the “Technical Resource Centre under Centre for Evidence based Guidelines” project, offers a salary of ₹67,000 per month plus HRA. The appointment is temporary, lasting until March 2026, with the potential for extension based on performance and fund availability.

Eligibility and Desired Profile

Candidates with a postgraduate degree such as an M.Pharm, MPH, or a degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or a related field are eligible, provided they have 3 years of post-PG research experience and at least one research paper published in an SCIE journal. Alternatively, candidates with an MD, MS, MDS, or PhD in Public Health, Statistics, Epidemiology, or Health Sciences are also eligible.

The ideal candidate will have a strong research background. Preference will be given to those who have:

Published systematic reviews and meta-analyses as the first or corresponding author in SCIE Q1 journals.
High-level proficiency in data analysis using R Programming, STATA, and/or Python.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for a wide range of activities related to evidence synthesis and research management, including:

Developing and registering protocols for systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
Conducting these reviews and meta-analyses on topics determined by the Technical Resource Centre.
Writing manuscripts and reports on project activities.
Planning and organizing training programs and workshops on evidence synthesis.
Managing the daily operations and record-keeping of the center.
Attending and/or convening meetings and webinars as directed by the Principal Investigator.
