Consultant (Public Relations) at RCB, Faridabad

The Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) in Faridabad, an institution of national importance under the Department of Biotechnology, is seeking applications for a Consultant (Public Relations). This is a contractual position for a professional with a background in Life Sciences who can simplify complex biological concepts for the public.

Post: Consultant (Public Relations)
Monthly Fee: A consolidated fee ranging from Rs. 85,000 to Rs. 1,15,000 per month, depending on experience.
Age Limit: The maximum age is 45 years.
Contract: The initial engagement is for one year, extendable up to a maximum of three years based on satisfactory performance. This is a consultancy service, not an employment contract.

Eligibility & Qualifications

Essential: A PhD degree in Life Sciences.
Key Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Hindi and English.
- The ability to explain complex biological concepts in simple terms.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Experience in designing and conducting science experiments for school students is also required.
Desirable: 1-2 years of teaching experience.

Scope of Work

The consultant will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

Performing academic administrative duties for the Academic Division.
Liaison with schools, scientific institutions, and NGOs.
Developing engaging content for various platforms like social media, blogs, and websites.
Organizing outreach programs, workshops, and public events to promote an understanding of science.
