Junior Research Associate Position at IIT-BHU

The Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) (IIT-BHU) in Varanasi is inviting applications for a temporary position of Junior Research Associate (JRA). The position is for a research project titled “Advancing 6G: Development of Test-Beds for Joint Sensing and Communication System,” which is sponsored by the Council of Science & Technology, Uttar Pradesh.

Emoluments: Rs. 28,000 per month
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. (Ag), M.Sc., M.Pharm, M.V.Sc., or Bachelor of Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech.) degree. Candidates must have a First Class in both graduate and postgraduate examinations.
Eligibility: Only Indian citizens who are residents of Uttar Pradesh are eligible.
Age Limit: The upper age limit is 28 years as of April 1st of the application year.
Application Deadline: Applicants must apply within 21 days of the advertisement date (September 21, 2025).

Note: No hard copy of the application is required. Shortlisted candidates will need to present their original documents at the time of the interview. The position is purely temporary and will last for the duration of the project. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
