AIIMS Hiring: Project Research Scientist-1 for ICMR-Funded Study

The All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is urgently seeking a Project Research Scientist-1 for a temporary, nine-month research project. Funded by the ICMR, the project focuses on the “Differentiation, molecular characterization and translational application of culture expanded human corneal endothelial cells.” This is an excellent opportunity for qualified scientists to contribute to a critical area of ophthalmic research at a national institution of importance.

Position Overview

  • Post: Project Research Scientist-1
  • Tenure: 9 months
  • Location: Dr. R. P. Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi
  • Salary: As per ICMR norms.
  • Age Limit: Up to 35 years.

Eligibility and Application Details

Candidates must meet the following essential qualifications:

  • M.Sc. Degree: A Master of Science degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry from a recognized university or institution with a minimum of 60% marks.
  • Research Experience: A minimum of two years of research experience gained after the completion of the Master’s degree.
  • Desirable Skill: Hands-on experience with cell culture is highly desirable and will be a significant advantage.
