
The CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR-IIIM) in Jammu is inviting eligible candidates to a walk-in interview for a temporary position of Project Associate. The role is part of a CCRAS-funded project titled “Pre-clinical development of Guduchi stem through AYUSH route for adjunct therapy in TB to reduce ATT-induced hepatoxicity.” The project’s current tenure is until March 31, 2026.
Key Details
- Position: Project Associate (One Position)
- Essential Qualification: Candidates must have an M.Sc. degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Zoology from a recognized university.
- Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of basic molecular and microbiology techniques is preferred.
- Age Limit: The upper age limit is 35 years as of the interview date, with relaxation as per Government of India rules.
- Stipend: The stipend depends on the candidate’s qualifications:
- ₹31,000 + 20% HRA for candidates who have qualified for a national-level examination (e.g., CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, DBT, DST).
- ₹25,000 + 20% HRA for all other candidates.
- HRA will only be provided if institutional accommodation is not available.
- Tenure: The initial engagement is for one year or until the project’s completion, whichever is earlier. It is a purely temporary position and does not confer any right to a permanent post at CSIR-IIIM.
