
The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH), a highly ranked premier institute, is seeking a qualified candidate for the temporary post of Research Scientist-I to work on an ICMR-Adhoc grant.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must have a First Class Postgraduate Degree in a relevant field and meet the following stringent experience criteria:
1. Core Technical Skills (Must be Experienced In)
- Cell Culture and Molecular Biology Techniques:
- Mammalian cell biology assays (proliferation, Immunocytochemistry, migration, invasion).
- Real-time PCR.
- Western Blots.
- DNA/RNA isolation.
- Advantageous Skill: Experience with calcium imaging is beneficial but not essential.
2. Communication and Research Credentials
- Demonstrated excellent technical and communication skills.
- Proven record of presentations at conferences and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Job Description
The primary responsibilities for the selected candidate will involve:
- Conducting wet lab experiments related to molecular biology and cell signaling.
- Documentation, analysis, presentation of research work, and manuscript writing.
- Assisting in guiding M.Tech and Ph.D. students.
- Required to travel to hospitals to collect tissue samples for the project.
