The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH), a highly ranked premier institute, is seeking a qualified candidate for the temporary post of Research Scientist-I to work on an ICMR-Adhoc grant.

Age Limit	Not more than 40 years as on the last day of application.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must have a First Class Postgraduate Degree in a relevant field and meet the following stringent experience criteria:

1. Core Technical Skills (Must be Experienced In)

Cell Culture and Molecular Biology Techniques:
- Mammalian cell biology assays (proliferation, Immunocytochemistry, migration, invasion).
- Real-time PCR.
- Western Blots.
- DNA/RNA isolation.
Advantageous Skill: Experience with calcium imaging is beneficial but not essential.

2. Communication and Research Credentials

Demonstrated excellent technical and communication skills.
Proven record of presentations at conferences and publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Job Description

The primary responsibilities for the selected candidate will involve:

Conducting wet lab experiments related to molecular biology and cell signaling.
Documentation, analysis, presentation of research work, and manuscript writing.
Assisting in guiding M.Tech and Ph.D. students.
Required to travel to hospitals to collect tissue samples for the project.
