Pharm'Up 
The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER), SAS Nagar (Mohali), has announced several temporary positions under its newly established Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Anti-viral and Anti-bacterial Drug Discovery. This initiative is part of the Government of India’s PRIP Scheme to boost R&D in the Pharma MedTech sector.

2. Role-Specific Requirements
Sr. Research Fellow (Organic/Medicinal Chemistry)
- Essential: M.S. (Pharm)/M.Pharm/M.Tech or M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic/Medicinal/Process) with 2 years of experience.
- Role: Focused on the organic synthesis of new antibacterial and antiviral compounds.
Technical Assistant (Computational/AI)
- Essential: M.Pharm/M.S. (Pharm)/M.Sc. with 1-year research experience or M.Tech.
- Key Skills: Python programming, Molecular Dynamics (MD) Simulations (GROMACS/AMBER), Molecular Docking, and AI model development for ADME properties.
- Role: Employing AI and virtual screening to develop an in-house CADD platform.
Technical Assistant (Pharmaceutical Analysis)
- Essential: M.Sc. in Chemistry or MS/M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Analysis.
- Key Skills: Hands-on experience with HPLC, GCMS, and LC-MS/MS. Knowledge of isolation of small molecules/peptides from natural products.
- Role: Isolation, purification, and characterization of molecules using chromatographic and Mass/NMR studies.
