Key Responsibilities of an Editorial Assistant

An Editorial Assistant in a scientific journal like the IJP plays a vital role in the peer-review and publication cycle:

Manuscript Screening: Initial check of submitted research papers for formatting and adherence to journal guidelines.
Peer Review Coordination: Liaising between authors, reviewers, and the Chief Editor to ensure timely feedback.
Scientific Editing: Helping refine the language and structure of accepted scientific papers.
Database Management: Maintaining records of submissions and publication statuses.
