Government Pharmacist Vacancy: DHFWS Paschim Medinipore (NHM)

The District Health & Family Welfare Samiti (DHFWS), Paschim Medinipore, has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Pharmacist under the National Urban Health Mission (NUHM). This is a contractual engagement under the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal.

1. Post Details & Compensation

Post Name: Pharmacist (NUHM)
Vacancies: 01 (Unreserved – UR)
Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 22,000/- per month (Consolidated).
Age Limit: 18 to 40 years (as of 01.01.2025). Age relaxation for SC, ST, and OBC candidates is applicable as per West Bengal Government norms.

2. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this position, candidates must fulfill the following:

Education: 2-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma – Allopathic) recognized by the Govt. of West Bengal.
Registration: Must be registered as an “A” Category Pharmacist under the West Bengal Pharmacy Council.
Residency: Must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
Skills: Proficiency in Bengali and basic computer efficiency (MS Office and Internet).
Higher Qualification: Additional weightage is provided for B.Pharma and M.Pharma holders.

3. Selection Process & Scoring Scale

The final merit list will be prepared based on a 100-mark scoring system:
