2. Salary Structure
The compensation follows the Gujarat Government’s fixed-pay policy for the initial years of service:
- First 5 Years (Fixed Pay): Rs. 40,800 per month.
- Post 5 Years (Regular Pay): Upon satisfactory completion of service, candidates move to the Seventh Pay Commission scale of Rs. 29,200 – Rs. 92,300 (Level-5).
3. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following requirements as of December 30, 2025:
Educational Qualifications
- Degree Path: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.).
- Diploma Path: Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) AND approximately 2 years of experience as a Junior Pharmacist/Dispenser/Medical Representative.
- Language: Adequate knowledge of Gujarati, Hindi, or both.
- Computer Knowledge: Basic knowledge is required. Candidates without a certificate now can apply but must produce one before the appointment.
Age Limit
- Minimum: 18 Years
- Maximum: 35 Years (as of 30/12/2025).
- Relaxation: Applicable for existing Government of Gujarat employees as per state rules.
4. Examination Fees
The fee structure includes a unique refund policy for those who actually attend the test:
- Non-Reserved Category: Rs. 500
- Reserved Category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Women/Divyang/Ex-Servicemen): Rs. 400
- Refund: Fees will be refunded to all candidates who appear for the Primary Examination.
