Research Specializations

NIAB is specifically looking for candidates to join labs in the following specialized domains:

Parasite Biology / RNA Biology: Investigating the molecular mechanisms of parasitic infections and the role of RNA in gene regulation and disease.
Molecular Immunology: Studying the immune responses in animals to develop novel vaccines and therapeutic interventions.

Eligibility Criteria

To participate in the walk-in interview, candidates must fulfill the following two requirements:

Academic Qualification: A Master’s degree (M.Sc. / M.Tech. / M.V.Sc. / M.Pharm.) or an MBBS / B.Tech. degree in any branch of Life Sciences with a strong academic track record.
Mandatory Fellowship: Applicants must have a valid National-level Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for 5 years. Accepted fellowships include:
- CSIR/UGC-NET JRF
- DBT-JRF (Category I)
- ICMR-JRF
- INSPIRE Fellowship
- UGC-RGNF or equivalent.
