BRIC-THSTI Recruitment 2026: High-Level Research Openings under Ministry of Science & Technology

The Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), an autonomous body under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, has announced walk-in opportunities for specialized research roles. These positions are part of high-priority national and international health projects based at the NCR Biotech Science Cluster, Faridabad.

Position 1: Research Associate-III

This role is dedicated to the INDIGO Project, which focuses on developing effective and affordable flu vaccines globally.

Project Title: INDIGO – Effective and Affordable Flu Vaccine for the world.
Vacancies: 01
Emoluments: ₹54,000 + HRA
Age Limit: Up to 40 years.
Educational Criteria: Ph.D. in Biotechnology or Biochemistry with 2 years of post-qualification experience in bacterial and mammalian cell culture.
Core Requirement: At least one first-author publication in a PubMed-indexed journal.

Position 2: Project Associate-II

These positions are under the INSACOG expansion, focusing on wastewater surveillance for SARS-CoV-2 and monitoring antimicrobial resistance (AMR).

Project Title: Expansion of INSACOG – Wastewater Surveillance & Genomics.

Emoluments: ₹54,000 + HRA
Age Limit: Up to 35 years.
Educational Criteria: M.Tech / M.Pharm or Master’s in Life Sciences with at least 2 years of post-qualification research experience.
Expertise Needed: Hands-on experience in microbial culture and knowledge of Genomics, Proteomics, or Metabolomics.
