Key Responsibilities
The Senior QA Officer will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- QMS Management: Oversee and manage key quality processes, including Deviations, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), Change Control, OOS (Out of Specification), and Market Complaints.
- External Oversight: Provide QA supervision for Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) and external testing laboratories.
- Batch Release: Support the Qualified Person (QP) in batch certification and release activities to ensure product safety and quality.
- Regulatory Readiness: Prepare and support internal and external audits/inspections by authorities such as the MHRA, EMA, and FDA.
- Product Lifecycle: Assist in new product introductions, technical transfers, and strategic product launches.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 4–6 years of solid experience within Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of EU/UK GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
- Expertise: Practical experience in managing outsourced manufacturing and testing partners.
- Soft Skills: Must be confident, highly organized, and capable of working independently in a virtual/hybrid environment.
