The Department of Neurosurgery at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER) is inviting applications for two temporary research positions under an ICMR-funded project titled “Exploring Circulating Biomarkers for Early Detection and Recurrence Monitoring in Pituitary region tumors.”

How to Apply
- Prepare your Bio-data: Ensure it is duly signed.
- Attach Documents: Include photocopies of certificates for Date of Birth, Qualifications, and Experience.
- Photograph: Affix a recent passport-size photograph.
- Submission: Deposit the physical application at:Department of Neurosurgery, Room No 2, 5th Floor, Nehru Hospital, PGIMER, Chandigarh.
- Deadline: Applications must be submitted by March 20, 2026.
Selection Process
- Written Exam: Scheduled for March 23, 2026, at 1:00 PM. The venue will be shared via email (depending on the number of candidates).
- Interview: Candidates must appear for a personal interview with original certificates on March 24, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Gamma Knife Center, Department of Neurosurgery, PGI, Chandigarh.
Important Notes
- Temporary Basis: These roles are purely contractual and co-terminus with the project (initially for 6 months, extendable based on performance).
- Special Requirements: Candidates who cleared the PGIMER Ph.D. entrance in Dec 2025 must provide their scorecard and an NOC from their guide.
- No TA/DA: No travel or daily allowance will be provided for attending the exam or interview.
