
The National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC), New Delhi, acting on behalf of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, is inviting applications for the position of Technical Officer (Drugs & Logistics). This critical role is based within the Central TB Division (CTD) of the MoH&FW and is on a purely contractual basis.

This is a senior-level position with a strong focus on supply chain and procurement within the national health system.
- Remuneration: An attractive monthly salary ranging between ₹90,000 to ₹1,30,000.

Eligibility & Key Requirements
Candidates must meet the following mandatory and desirable criteria:
- Mandatory Qualification & Experience:
- M.Pharm / M.Tech / M.A./M.Sc/M.Com with at least 2 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management in a reputed organization.
- OR MBA/PGD in Supply Chain Management / Procurement & Supply Chain Management.
- OR Diploma in Health/ Hospital Administration with at least 2 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management of drugs.
- Other Essential Skills: A solid working knowledge of computers.
- Preferential Qualifications: Prior experience in the NTEP (National Tuberculosis Elimination Program) or with general health sector products will be highly preferred.
Primary Responsibilities
The Technical Officer will have diverse and high-impact responsibilities, including:
- Procurement: Managing the database of manufacturers and suppliers; preparing procurement documents for competitive bidding (National/State level) and direct purchasing.
- Quality Assurance: Assisting CTD with pre and post-procurement quality assessments of program drugs and consumables.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Tracking and reviewing procurement reports from states, monitoring stocks to prevent expiries, and conducting supervisory visits to state/district stores.
- Maintenance & Contract Management: Monitoring the performance of suppliers for equipment maintenance under warranty and the states’ timely renewal of maintenance contracts.
- ICT Integration: Facilitating the use of ICT & Nikshay tools (a unified ICT system for TB patients in India) for data entry, validation, and public health action.
- Capacity Building: Training state program managers and PML nodal officers on PSM (Procurement & Supply Chain Management).
