PGIMER Chandigarh Recruitment 2026: Senior Research Opportunity in Neuroendocrine Tumors

The Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, is inviting applications for a high-level research position under the ICMR-funded project titled “VISION-NET: Vanguard Institute for Scientific Innovation in Neuroendocrine Tumors.”

This project is a collaborative effort between the Department of Endocrinology and the Department of Nuclear Medicine, focusing on cutting-edge innovations in the study and treatment of Neuroendocrine Tumors (NETs).

Job Profile: Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical)

This is a senior research role suitable for experienced Life Sciences professionals looking to contribute to specialized medical research.

Remuneration: ₹80,400 per month (₹67,000 + 20% HRA).
Age Limit: 40 years (Relaxation applies as per ICMR rules for SC/ST/OBC/PWD).
Nature of Post: Purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Eligibility & Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following academic and experience criteria:

Option A: 1st Class Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences + 3 years of experience OR a PhD.
Option B: 2nd Class Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences + PhD + 3 years of experience.
Desirable Skill: Prior experience in handling radioisotopes is highly preferred, given the involvement of the Department of Nuclear Medicine.
