IISER Tirupati Walk-in: Research Opportunity for B.Pharm & Science Graduates in Antiviral Development

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati, an autonomous premier institution under the Ministry of Education, has announced a walk-in interview for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Project Associate I.

The selected candidate will join an industry-funded research initiative led by Prof. Guruprasad R. Medigeshi, focusing on the critical development of antivirals against the Dengue Virus.

Eligibility & Compensation

The institute is looking for motivated Indian nationals with a background in life sciences or pharmacy.

Qualifications: B.Pharm, BVSc, Master’s in Natural/Agricultural Sciences, or a 4-year Bachelor’s in Biotechnology/Biomedical Engineering.
Stipend: * ₹37,000 + 9% HRA for NET/GATE qualified scholars.
- ₹30,000 + 9% HRA for others.
Experience (Desirable): Mammalian cell culture, virus assays, and protein purification.
