Gujarat Biotechnology University (GBU), Gandhinagar, is inviting applications for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position. This project is funded by the Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission (GSBTM) and focuses on a cutting-edge synthetic antibody engineering platform aimed at zoonotic pathogens.

Project Title: “Establishment of synthetic antibody engineering platform for rapid development of indigenous bispecific antibodies to debilitate zoonotic pathogens reducing their pandemic potential”

Eligibility & Emoluments

Feature	Details
Minimum Qualification	M.Sc. (Biotechnology/Microbiology or relevant life sciences) appearing or passed with min. 55% marks.
Upper Age Limit	30 years (as of the closing date).
Fellowship (NET/GATE)	₹31,000 + HRA per month.
Fellowship (Non-NET/GATE)	₹23,213 (Fixed) per month.
Duration	1 year (extendable annually based on performance and project tenure).

Desirable Skills:

Candidates with AI/ML computational skills and programming knowledge are strongly preferred.
Experience in advanced proteomics, immunology, and molecular biology.
Strong communication skills.
