The CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CSIR-CCMB), Hyderabad, a premier research organization in modern biology, has announced a notification for the empanelment of project staff. This is a strategic opportunity for Pharmacy and Science graduates to join a talent pool for upcoming research projects in areas like Molecular Biology, Structural Biology, and Drug Discovery.
Eligibility & Age Criteria
| Category | Essential Qualifications | Upper Age Limit |
| I | M.Pharm / Masters in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / B.Tech / MBBS | 35 Years |
| II | Doctoral Degree (Pharma/Science/MD/MS) / M.Tech | 40 Years |
- Experience: Candidates with or without R&D experience are eligible to apply.
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Understanding the “Empanelment” Process
It is important to note that this notification is for creation of a panel, not immediate recruitment for a specific post.
- Validity: The panel will remain active for 6 months from the date of result declaration.
- Selection: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an Online or Offline Interview.
- Engagement: Empanelled candidates will be called for temporary project roles based on the institute’s requirements and fund availability.
- Tenure: Purely temporary; total engagement across CSIR labs cannot exceed 5 years.

General Terms of Engagement
