Key Eligibility & Selection Criteria
- Upper Age Limit: 35 years (40 years for Senior Project Associate). Age relaxation applies as per Govt. rules.
- NET/GATE Benefit: Candidates with CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET or GATE qualifications are eligible for the higher stipend bracket (Category ‘a’).
- Tenure: Initially for one year, extendable up to the project duration (current project life is 3 years).
- Selection Mode: Hybrid Interview (Online/Offline). A screening committee may refine criteria if applicant volume is high.

- Last Date to Apply: 28th April 2026 (Tuesday) by 05:00 PM.
- Shortlist Display Date: 04th May 2026 (Monday) on the CSIR-IIIM website.
