
The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati, an autonomous premier institution under the Ministry of Education, is seeking a Research Associate-I for a high-impact project in the field of Ecology and Evolution. The project, titled “Developing genomic methods for ecological studies of mammals,” is led by Dr. Nandini Rajamani and focuses on cutting-edge population genomics.
This position offers a monthly fellowship of up to ₹58,000 + 9% HRA for Ph.D. holders, while candidates who have submitted their thesis but are awaiting their degree are also eligible to apply at a revised remuneration.
Recruitment Details
- Position: Research Associate-I
- Research Focus: Mammalian genomics, SNP data analysis, and selection analysis.
- Eligibility: Ph.D. in Life Sciences (or thesis submitted).
- Desirable: Experience in analyzing whole genomes and population genomics datasets.
- Tenure: 6 months (Extendable based on performance).
