- Tenure: 5 years (extendable by an additional 5 years based on extraordinary performance).
- Superannuation / Age Limit: 65 years (extendable up to 70 years subject to physical fitness, published books/papers, and a 360-degree feedback score > 8/10 over the preceding 3 years).

Eligibility Criteria
- Academic Credentials: Ph.D. in the concerned, allied, or relevant discipline with high-impact research credentials and a minimum of 10 publications indexed in Scopus or Web of Science.
- Experience Requirement:
- Minimum 15 years of total teaching and research experience.
- Must include at least 3 years of experience as Professor (or equivalent in Pay Level-14) at a recognized University, National-Level Organization, or Research Institution.
- Demonstrated evidence of successfully guiding at least 2 doctoral (Ph.D.) scholars.
Key Responsibilities
The Director will assist the Vice-Chancellor in steering the institute’s strategic vision across:
- Academic curriculum management and development.
- Sponsored research, intellectual property, and high-impact publications.
- Institutional governance, faculty leadership, and overall administration of the school.
