The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) Cell, operating under Headquarters Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (HQ TASA), has announced a recruitment notification inviting applications from eligible Indian citizens for the contractual engagement of Pharmacists. Positions are available across multiple ECHS Polyclinics located in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Under the administrative purview of the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DoESW), Ministry of Defence (MoD), the ECHS network provides comprehensive medical care to Ex-Servicemen and their dependents. The current engagement offers competitive fixed monthly remuneration, with dedicated contractual terms for both civilian and ex-servicemen personnel.

Eligibility Criteria & Qualification Requirements

• Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized university or instituteOR
  • Class 12 (10+2) with Science stream alongside a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from an approved institution.
• Professional Registration: Candidates must hold a valid, active registration certificate from a recognized State Pharmacy Council or the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
• Reservation & Priority: First preference will be accorded to Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and war widows meeting the Qualitative Requirements (QR). Civilian candidates will be evaluated based on merit and vacancy requirements.

Selection Process & Training

1. Document Scrutiny: Initial screening of submitted applications against minimum Qualitative Requirements (QR).
2. Written Examination: Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be invited for a written test. The exact schedule, reporting time, and examination venue will be communicated directly via email.
3. Personal Interview: Only candidates qualifying in the written examination will be called to appear for the personal interview round. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the test or interview.
4. Mandatory Training: Finalized candidates must undergo 10 days of On-the-Job Training (OJT) without additional pay or allowances prior to formal deployment.

1. Download the standard ECHS application form from the official ECHS portal (echs.gov.in).
2. Fill out the application form completely with verifiable details.
3. Enclose self-attested photocopies of all supporting documentation:
   • Class 10 & 12 pass certificates and mark sheets
   • Degree/Diploma completion certificates and semester-wise mark sheets
   • Valid Pharmacy Council Registration Certificate
   • Relevant work experience certificates
   • Discharge Book, Service Records, and Pension Payment Order (PPO) (applicable for Ex-Servicemen only)
4. Submit the completed application envelope via registered post, speed post, or by hand on or before 04 October 2026 (1800 hrs) to the designated address:
