AIIMS Mangalagiri Invites Applications for Research Associate III Position Under Department of Health Research (ICMR-DHR) Project

AIIMS Mangalagiri has announced a contractual job opening for a Research Associate III position under the project titled “AIIMS Mangalagiri – Technical Resource Centre, Centre for Evidence-Based Guidelines.” Funded by the Department of Health Research (ICMR, MOHFW) and led by Principal Investigator Dr. Vikram Damaraju, Assistant Professor of Pulmonary Medicine, the engagement is temporary, governed by prevailing ICMR Non-Institutional Project Human Resource guidelines.

Eligibility and Essential Qualifications

Eligible candidates, including pharmacy professionals, must meet the following criteria:

Option 1: Postgraduate degree in Public Health (MPH), Epidemiology, Statistics, Environmental Sciences, Population Sciences, Demography, Health Economics, HTA, or Pharmacy (M.Pharm) with 3 years of post-PG research experience and at least one research paper published in an SCIE journal.
Option 2: MD, MS, MDS, or PhD in Public Health, Statistics, Epidemiology, or Health Sciences.
Desirable Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with first or corresponding author publications (Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis) in SCIE Q1 journals, alongside advanced data analysis expertise in R Programming, SPSS, and STATA.
Age Limit: Maximum of 40 years (age relaxations apply per GoI/ICMR rules).

Salary, Tenure, and Job Responsibilities

Emoluments: Rs. 67,000 per month plus applicable House Rent Allowance (HRA at 20%).
Tenure: Initial appointment is for 12 months, renewable for up to three years based on performance, fund availability, and project requirements.
Core Responsibilities:
- Developing and registering technical protocols for systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
- Conducting evidence synthesis projects and writing manuscripts.
- Planning and organizing training programs, workshops, and webinars under the Technical Resource Centre (TRC).
- Managing day-to-day operations, reporting, and documentation.
