The institute is looking to engage qualified and dynamic professionals for the following temporary positions initially for a period of one year, subject to performance and specific project requirements:

Scientific Coordinator (CoE-C2)
- Number of Posts: 1
- Upper Age Limit: 40 years
- Monthly Salary: ₹58,000/- (fixed)
- Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Science, Microbiology, or Biotechnology with relevant expertise in handling BSL2/3 bacterial pathogens, drug screening, molecular biology, diagnostic assay development, protein purification, and molecular recognition element development.
- Key Responsibilities: Active participation in antibacterial drug discovery (screening synthetic compounds, natural products, and biologics), diagnostic assay development, data management, and report preparation.
Scientific Coordinator (CoE-C3)
- Number of Posts: 1
- Upper Age Limit: 40 years
- Monthly Salary: ₹58,000/- (fixed)
- Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Science, Chemical Science, Microbiology, or Biotechnology; OR an M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or related disciplines with 5 years of relevant experience.
- Key Responsibilities: Active involvement in antiviral drug discovery, development, antiviral assay execution, data management, and report generation.
Senior Research Fellow (CoE-SRF-5)
- Number of Posts: 1
- Upper Age Limit: 37 years
- Monthly Salary: ₹42,000/- (fixed)
- Essential Qualifications: M.Pharm, M.S. (Pharm), or M.Tech in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Science, Biotechnology, or Pharmacology & Toxicology; OR an equivalent M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Medical Microbiology, or Microbiology with two years of relevant experience.
- Key Responsibilities: Active involvement in antiviral drug discovery, development, and antiviral assay formulation.

Interview and Application Guidelines

Walk-In Interview Details: The walk-in interview will take place on 12.10.2026 (Monday) starting from 02:00 PM at the Conference Room, Secretariat Building, NIPER-SAS Nagar – 160062 (Punjab). Candidates must complete their registration at the Recruitment Cell by 02:00 PM.
