Dr. Reddy’s Institute of Life Sciences (DRILS) has invited applications from eligible candidates for multiple positions, including Project Research Scientist-I and Project Technical Support-III roles, across several ICMR-funded research projects.

Position 1: Project Research Scientist-I (PRS-I)

Remuneration / Salary: ₹72,800/- per month (consolidated).
Academic Qualifications: Ph.D. in Life Sciences OR a Post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences / Professional Courses accompanied by relevant experience.
Preferred Experience: Candidates possessing at least 2 years of hands-on experience in molecular biology, microbiology, cell culture, or zebrafish handling are preferred.

Position 2: Project Technical Support-III (PTS-III)

Remuneration / Salary: ₹36,400/- per month (consolidated).
Academic Qualifications: Post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences or Professional Courses.
Preferred Experience: Prior experience in molecular biology, cell culture, or zebrafish handling is preferred, though freshers are also eligible and will be considered.

Core Responsibilities & Candidate Requirements

Key Responsibilities: Conducting literature searches; designing, planning, and executing experiments under a scientist’s supervision; providing research and scientific support; and managing bookkeeping along with the maintenance of laboratory stocks and consumables.
General Requirements: Applicants must be motivated, committed, capable of working independently as well as in teams, and prepared to commit to a minimum stay of 2 years.
Ph.D. Policy: These positions do not automatically lead to a Ph.D. However, outstanding performers may be considered for a Ph.D. program under exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of the institution.
