Applications are invited from eligible candidates for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position on a contractual basis for a CSIR-funded research project at the University of Delhi.
Project Overview and Details
- Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Name of Project: CSIR-funded project titled “Investigating the functional role of Leishmania donovani SET21 protein”
- Project Duration / Termination: The project terminates in September 2027, and the appointment is strictly co-terminus with the project.
- Emoluments: Rs. 37,000/- plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) per month.
- Job Profile: Execution of molecular and cell biology experiments.
Essential and Desirable Qualifications
- Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences OR B.S. (4-year program) / Integrated BS-MS / B.Pharm / MBBS / BE / B.Tech Biotechnology (or equivalent degree in any branch of Life Sciences) with a minimum of 55% marks.
- National Examination Requirement: Candidates must be NET or GATE qualified.
- Desirable Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in microbiology laboratory work.
Age Limit and Relaxations
- Upper Age Limit: 28 years as of the date of application.
- Age Relaxation: Relaxation of up to 5 years is applicable for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), women candidates, and physically handicapped candidates.
