
ICON plc, a global leader in clinical research, is seeking a Clinical Data Coordinator I to join its Biometrics Portfolio team in Bangalore, India. Job Summary & Responsibilities
The Clinical Data Coordinator I will be responsible for a range of data management activities to ensure the creation of accurate and consistent clinical databases. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for data accuracy in the healthcare and life sciences industries.
Key responsibilities include:
- Data Management & Query Resolution: Performing data reviews, managing data queries, and ensuring data is clean, accurate, and consistent.
- Database Expertise: Assisting in the design and setup of clinical databases and possessing hands-on experience with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems like Medidata and Veeva.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensuring compliance with TMF (Trial Master File) documentation standards and other regulatory guidelines such as Good Clinical Practices (GCPs).
- Efficiency & Improvement: Utilizing clinical data tools to improve trial efficiency and actively participating in process improvement initiatives to reduce study build cycle time.
Candidate Profile
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- Education: A graduate degree in any Life Science discipline.
- Experience: A minimum of 1.5 years of experience in Data Management is mandatory. Prior experience working on global clinical studies within the pharma or CRO (Contract Research Organization) industry is highly preferred.
- Skills: Expertise in data review and query management, as well as a strong understanding of clinical databases and EDC systems.
