As a Principal Scientific Writer, you will be at the forefront of bringing Novartis’s exciting product pipeline to life through peer-reviewed journals, international conferences, and strategic clinical documentation.
Key Responsibilities & Scope
The role demands a blend of scientific expertise, project management, and strategic leadership:
- Advanced Scientific Authoring: Prepare and oversee highly complex documents, including literature reviews, abstracts, posters, slide decks, and high-impact manuscripts for global publication.
- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic input for brand plans and assist in policy decision-making as a therapeutic area (TA) champion.
- Stakeholder Management: Define and implement strategies to manage internal and external stakeholders, including global clinical teams and external authors.
- Process Excellence: Champion process improvement techniques and develop a Center of Excellence (CoE) for specific disease areas.
- Mentorship: Train new joiners and fellow colleagues, ensuring the team adheres to GPP (Good Publication Practice) and CONSORT guidelines.
