Roles and Responsibilities
The selected consultant will oversee the end-to-end logistics for the Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) division, including:
- Logistics Coordination: Monitoring inventory and stock levels at GMSDs and States to prevent overstocking or stock-outs.
- Procurement Liaison: Coordinating with suppliers and UNICEF for domestic and international commodity supply.
- Financial Management: Assisting in budget preparation, grant allocation, and expenditure booking in line with GoI guidelines.
- Strategic Planning: Assisting the Additional Commissioner (Immunization) in developing macro plans to improve routine immunization and appraising Program Implementation Plans (PIPs).
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Education:
- MBA or PGDM in Hospital/Healthcare Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or Material Management.
- OR Master of Public Health (MPH).
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience at the National level in planning and handling Routine Immunization supplies (Vaccines, Syringes, and Cold Chain).
- Proficiency in MS Office and fluency in English (with working knowledge of Hindi).
- Preference: Candidates with prior experience in the National Health Mission (NHM) or RCH at the National/State level.
