MPESB Recruitment 2026: Massive Opening for Pharmacists and Compounders in Madhya Pradesh

The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has officially released a recruitment notification for several pharmaceutical and healthcare positions across the state. This drive aims to fill 184 vacancies, including roles for Drug Coordinators, Pharmacists (Grade-II), and Compounders in Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and Unani departments.

Eligible Indian nationals can begin submitting their applications through the official portal starting March 13, 2026.

Vacancy Summary

The recruitment covers a diverse range of locations including Jabalpur, Indore, Gwalior, Ratlam, Rewa, and Bhopal.

Pharmacist Grade-II: The largest segment of the recruitment, offering a competitive pay scale of 25,300 – 80,500 (Level 6). Candidates must hold a Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy and be registered with the MP Pharmacy Council.
AYUSH Compounders: A significant 175 seats are available specifically for Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and Unani specialties within the Directorate of AYUSH.
Drug Coordinator: A specialized role in Jabalpur requiring at least three years of pharmaceutical coordination experience.

Important Candidate Guidelines

The board has emphasized several strict requirements for the 2026 examination cycle:

Employment Registration: All applicants must have a valid, active registration with the Madhya Pradesh State Employment Exchange.
Age Criteria: The standard age bracket is 18 to 40 years, with a relaxed upper limit of 45 years for reserved categories and female candidates (MP Domicile only).
Biometric Entry: Entry to the examination hall will strictly require multi-stage biometric verification linked to the candidate’s Aadhaar card.
Travel Allowance: SC, ST, and OBC candidates who are permanent residents of MP are eligible for travel reimbursement via e-payment.

Examination Schedule

The online examinations are scheduled to commence on April 15, 2026. The syllabus will test candidates on core subjects including Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Toxicology, and Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence.
