
Parexel, a leading global biopharmaceutical service provider, is looking for a Clinical Operations Manager to join their team in Bengaluru. This role focuses on high-level project oversight, staff development, and maintaining global clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Oversight
- Monitor project performance and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Develop action plans and facilitate metrics collection to keep projects on time and within budget.
- Manage team resourcing and oversee the quality and efficiency of deliverables.
- Act as a liaison between the Project Team, the Sponsor, and senior management.
Staff & Talent Management
- Recruit, mentor, and retain a skilled team of clinical research professionals.
- Conduct quality checks (e.g., on-site visits and Central File reviews) to ensure productivity metrics are met.
- Manage formal performance and salary reviews according to corporate standards.
- Support staff in improving efficiency and prioritizing workloads.
Client & Business Development
- Support efforts for generating business leads and participate in project bids/client presentations.
- Coordinate client activities and respond to technical feedback from client groups.
General Operations
- Ensure strict compliance with ICH Guidelines, Good Clinical Practices (GCP), and Regulatory Agency requirements.
- Maintain a results-oriented work environment and model leadership for employees across multiple disciplines.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Degree in Biological Science, Pharmacy, or a health-related discipline (Nursing qualification or equivalent clinical experience also accepted).
- Experience: Substantial experience in clinical monitoring or data management with a deep understanding of the clinical trials environment.
- Skills: Proven ability to manage and motivate direct reports; competency in written English and local language.
