DRILS Invites Applications for ICMR-Funded Project Research Scientist-II Position in Life Sciences

Applications have been officially invited from eligible candidates for a Project Research Scientist-II (Non-medical) position under an ICMR-funded project titled “Investigating MicroRNA- Based Therapeutic Strategies in Idiopathic Acquired Aplastic Anemia Using a Patient- Derived 3D Bone Marrow Niche Organoid Platform” at Dr. Reddy’s Institute of Life Sciences (DRILS).
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and execute experiments under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI).
- Coordinate and conduct overall project activities, including data analysis, protocol optimization, and documentation with the research team.
- Maintain accurate and properly cataloged laboratory records.
- Demonstrate high motivation, commitment, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Academic Qualifications & Experience
- Essential Qualifications:
- Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences; OR
- First-Class Post-Graduate Degree in Life Sciences (including integrated PG degrees) with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Desired Experience: Candidates with 1-2 years of hands-on experience in stem cell culture, mammalian cell culture, molecular biology, miRNA isolation and transfection, western blotting, FACS, or microscopy imaging techniques. Knowledge of basic bioinformatics analysis is preferred, and prior experience handling patient-derived stem cells and cell lines is strongly encouraged.
