CSIR Senior Research Fellow Vacancy 2026: Bharathidasan University Invites Applications for Pharma and Science Candidates under Emeritus Scientist Project

Applications are invited for the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under the CSIR Emeritus Scientist project supervised by Dr. M. Senthilvelan in the Department of Nonlinear Dynamics, School of Physics, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli. The position is temporary and purely on a contractual basis for a project tenure of 3 years.

Project Title: Tailoring non-Hermitian topological insulators for applications and the search of topological states through machine learning
Funding Agency: CSIR, Government of India
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc, B.E, B.Tech, B.VSc, B.Pharm, or equivalent degree with at least two years of post-degree research experience backed by published papers in standard refereed journals; OR M.E/M.Tech in Engineering/Technology; OR MBBS/BDS with 1-year internship, M.VSc, M.Pharm, or equivalent.
Desirable Qualifications: Two years of research experience in Theoretical Physics along with sound computational skills.
Age Limit: 32 years for SRF, with upper age relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC, women, and physically handicapped candidates.
Fellowship: Rs. 42,000/- per month plus HRA as per University norms.
