ICMR Research Project 2026: MANIT Bhopal Invites Applications for Project Technical Support – III Position in Anti-TB Study

Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) Bhopal has officially invited applications through walk-in interview mode for a purely temporary position under a research project funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). The project is titled “Targeting Glutamate Decarboxylase to Overcome Mycobacterial Persistence and Drug Resistance: Exploring New Horizons in Anti-TB Therapeutic Interventions”.
Position & Financial Details
- Post Name: Project Technical Support – III
- Emoluments: Rs. 28,000/- per month plus HRA at 20% in accordance with ICMR norms.
- Funding Agency: Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), India.
- Tenure: The position has a maximum duration of 3 years or up to the completion of the project, with an initial appointment for 1 year extendable up to the full project tenure based on performance. The Principal Investigator will evaluate progress every 06 months.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Essential Qualifications: Candidates must hold an M.Sc., M.Tech., B.Tech., M.Pharm, or MS degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or any other relevant branch of Modern Biology (as determined solely by the Principal Investigator based on project needs). Applicants must have secured a 1st division (minimum 60% marks or equivalent) in their qualifying degree as well as all preceding degrees.
- Desirable Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates who possess NET/GATE or equivalent qualifications, alongside practical experience in Molecular Biology techniques, Cell Culture, or Mycobacterial research.

shivendrachaurasiya@gmail.com), an application on plain paper with a complete bio-data, self-attested copies of mark sheets and certificates, any relevant experience certificates, one recent passport-size photograph, and original documents for verification. - Note: No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview, and appointments are strictly temporary and co-terminus with the project with no rights to regular employment.
