Position: Senior Project Associate (01 Post)
Project Title: “Influence of the use of transgenic cotton hybrids on the soil microbial community in comparison to soil samples from uncultivated plots”
Project Code: SSP-080-20
Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 42,000/- plus HRA per month
Upper Age Limit: 40 years, with standard relaxations of 5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates

Essential and Desirable Qualifications

Candidates must fulfill specific educational and experience criteria to be eligible for selection:

Route (I) Qualification: Master’s or Integrated Master’s degree in Natural, Agricultural, or Pharmaceutical Sciences, MVSc, Animal Sciences; OR a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine from a recognized university or equivalent, accompanied by 3 years of research and development experience in industrial, academic, or science and technology organizations.
Route (II) Qualification: Master’s or Integrated Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology; OR a Doctoral Degree in Science, Pharma, MD, MS from a recognized university or equivalent, accompanied by 2 years of research and development experience.
Desirable Skills: Preference will be given to candidates possessing specialized experience in phenotypic and genetic microbial characterization, microbial preservation, PCR-based identification methods, as well as sequencing and data analysis.
