Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
- Higher Secondary (12th) in 10+2 system with Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Diploma in Pharmacy, B.Pharma, or M.Pharma from a recognized university or institution approved by the State Government.
- Live registration as a Pharmacist with the Madhya Pradesh Pharmacy Council.
Age Limit (as of January 1, 2025)
- General: 18-40 years
- Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC/Government servants/Women/Divyangjan/Home Guards, MP natives): 18-45 years
- EWS: No age relaxation (per circular 73/104/2022/A.P./2021, dated 02.02.2022)
- Physically Handicapped/Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation as per General Administration Department guidelines
- Maximum Age Limit: Not to exceed 45 years for any category (except contract workers and specific categories under Rule No. 13)
- Note: Candidates must have live registration in an MP employment office.
Citizenship and Residence
- Candidates must be Indian citizens or Nepalese citizens with certification per MP Civil Services Recruitment Rules 1961.
- Non-MP residents can apply only for unreserved posts and are ineligible for reservation or age relaxation benefits.

- Pharmacognosy: Drug classification, adulteration, therapeutic effects of alkaloids, terpenoids, glycosides, crude drugs.
- Biochemistry and Clinical Pathology: Carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, vitamins, pathology of blood and urine.
- Human Anatomy and Physiology: Cell structure, tissues, blood composition, body systems.
- Health Education & Community Pharmacy: Health concepts, disease prevention, first aid, microbiology, communicable diseases.
- Dispensing Pharmacy: Prescriptions, incompatibilities, posology, suspensions, emulsions, ointments, parenteral products.
- Pharmaceutical Chemistry II: Organic compounds, nomenclature, properties, formulations.
