NIPER Pharma Faculty Openings 2025: 15 Posts with Salaries up to ₹2 Lakh/Month

The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER), SAS Nagar, invites applications for 15 faculty positions across Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor levels, offering salaries up to ₹2 lakh per month as per the 7th CPC. Faculty Positions and Specializations

Professor (7 Posts, Pay Level-14A: ₹1,59,100–₹2,20,200)

Eligibility: Ph.D. with first-class or equivalent in the relevant branch, 10 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, and high-quality published work. Max age: 50 years.
Specializations:
- F-101: Natural Products (1 UR) – Traditional Medicine, AYUSH formulation, natural product isolation.
- F-102: Pharmaceutical Analysis (1 ST) – Stability Testing, Impurity Profiling, analytical platforms (LC-MS, LC-NMR, etc.).
- F-103: Pharmaceutical Analysis (1 OBC) – Regulatory Affairs, Business Development, bioanalysis.
- F-104: Pharmacology & Toxicology (1 UR) – Regulatory Toxicology, Safety Pharmacology.
- F-105: Pharmaceutical Management (1 SC) – Operations Management, R&D Management, HRM, or Marketing Research.
- F-106: Pharmaceutical Technology – Biotechnology (1 UR) – Fermentation Technology, Biocatalysis.
- F-107: Biotechnology (1 OBC) – Bacteriology, Virology, Experimental Omics, or anti-viral/anti-bacterial agent development.

Associate Professor (5 Posts, Pay Level-13A2: ₹1,39,600–₹2,11,300)

Eligibility: Ph.D. with first-class or equivalent, 8 years of experience, and significant contributions to pharmaceutical sciences. Max age: 50 years.
Specializations:
- F-201: Pharmaceutical Technology – Process Chemistry (1 ST) – Chemical Engineering, Flow Chemistry.
- F-202: Pharmaceutical Technology – Process Chemistry (1 SC) – Business Development, Pilot Plant Management.
- F-203: Clinical Research (1 OBC) – Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacovigilance, Phase I-III trials.
- F-204: Biotechnology (1 SC) – Nucleotide/Gene/Cell-based therapy development.
- F-205: Medical Devices (1 OBC) – Biomedical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering for medical devices.

Assistant Professor (2 Posts, Pay Level-12: ₹1,01,500–₹1,67,400)

Eligibility: Ph.D. with first-class or equivalent, 5 years of experience, and high-quality published work. Max age: 45 years.
Specializations:
- F-301: Pharmacology & Toxicology (1 ST) – Regulatory Toxicology, Molecular Toxicology, non-clinical safety studies.
- F-302: Pharmaceutics (1 OBC) – Solid State Pharmaceutics, 3D printing, QbD, formulation of biologicals.

Reservations

2 posts (across all levels) reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) under locomotor disability, filled via horizontal reservation from SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/UR candidates.
Age relaxation and reservations as per Government of India norms.
