The Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), an autonomous institute under the Ministry of Science & Technology, is conducting a rolling recruitment drive for multiple research positions in Faridabad. Current Vacancies & Eligibility
THSTI is looking to fill a total of 9 openings across several contractual research positions.
1. Principal Project Associate (2 Posts)
- Age Limit: 40 years
- Qualifications: A Master’s degree in any branch of Life Sciences with at least 8 years of R&D experience OR a Ph.D./M.D./M.S. in Life Sciences with at least 4 years of R&D experience.
- Job Focus: The role requires extensive experience in monoclonal antibody development, including molecular biology techniques, cell culture, and handling analytical assays like HPLC and SPR.
- Salary: ₹49,000 per month + HRA.
2. Senior Project Associate (2 Posts)
- Age Limit: 40 years
- Qualifications: A Master’s degree in Life Sciences with at least 4 years of R&D experience OR a Ph.D./M.D./M.S. in Life Sciences.
- Job Focus: The position is centered on protein production and purification, requiring expertise in various chromatography techniques.
- Salary: ₹42,000 per month + HRA.
3. Project Associate II (2 Posts)
- Age Limit: 35 years
- Qualifications: A Master’s degree in Life Sciences with at least 2 years of R&D experience.
- Job Focus: Responsibilities include molecular biological techniques, protein characterization, and general lab maintenance.
- Salary: ₹35,000 + HRA for NET/GATE-qualified candidates; ₹28,000 + HRA for others.
4. Project Associate I (3 Posts)
- Age Limit: 35 years
- Qualifications: A Master’s degree in Life Sciences is required for 2 posts, while one post requires a Master’s degree with 4 years of microbiology experience OR a Ph.D.
- Job Focus: The roles are research-intensive, focusing on bacterial microbiology and host genetics related to neonatal sepsis. Key skills include DNA/RNA extraction, RT-PCR, Western analyses, and animal handling.
- Salary: ₹31,000 + HRA for NET/GATE-qualified candidates (for 2 posts); ₹25,000 + HRA for others. For the third post, the salary is ₹42,000 + HRA.
