Pharm'Up 
Cipla is looking for a Junior Operator to join its Production team at its manufacturing facility in Rangpo, Sikkim. This role is ideal for a candidate with 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry. The primary goal of this position is to execute production operations safely and efficiently to meet manufacturing targets.
Key Responsibilities
The Junior Operator will be responsible for a variety of tasks crucial to daily production, including:
- Equipment Operation: Operating and maintaining production equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure targets are met without errors or deviations.
- Process Optimization: Identifying and rectifying deficiencies in the production area and documentation. The role also encourages proposing and implementing new ideas to enhance production efficiency and optimize resource utilization.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintaining and updating online documentation, ensuring data integrity in Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), and checking all documents before submission to meet cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements.
- Safety and Training: Adhering to and enforcing safety guidelines. This includes conducting training for other workmen on cGMP, equipment operation, and housekeeping. The Junior Operator will also ensure that all personnel use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) and report any near-miss incidents in a timely manner.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing organization.
- Qualification: A Diploma in Pharmacy or a Diploma in Mechanical is required.
- Location: The position is based in Rangpo, Sikkim.
