JRF Opportunity: ILBS, New Delhi Invites M.Pharm, M.Sc, M.Tech Holders for BVG-Funded NAFLD Project

The Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), a mono-superspecialty hospital in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a research project funded by BVG.

Essential Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill all the following requirements:

Mandatory Qualification: Must possess a valid NET/GATE/GPAT qualification or any other national eligibility test.
Educational Qualification & Experience: A Post Graduate degree in one of the following disciplines PLUS2 years of research experience from a recognized institution:
- M.Pharm / M.S. Pharm (specialization in Pharmacology preferred)
- M.Tech (Bio-Technology)
- M.Sc in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, Physiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or any other relevant discipline.

Desirable Experience

Candidates with a minimum of 60% marks at the Post Graduate level and experience in the following areas will be preferred:

Pre-clinical studies
Cell-based assays
Bioinformatics and Proteomic analysis
Mammalian Cell culture & Cell Based Assays
Fluorescence Microscopy

Job Description

The selected JRF will be responsible for a variety of tasks crucial to the project, including:

Pre-clinical investigations, development, and handling of small laboratory animal models (Mice and Rat) for in vivo toxicity and efficacy analysis.
Handling of biological samples for molecular investigations.
In vitro cell culture, including primary Hepatic cells & Organoids.
Pharmacodynamics and Pharmacokinetics analysis of Natural/Herbal/Ayurvedic compounds.
Data compilation, Bioinformatics, Proteomic analysis, and writing of project reports and manuscripts.
