Core Responsibilities of the F&D Officer

The role is comprehensive, covering the entire spectrum of the cosmetic product development lifecycle, from initial research to commercialization and compliance.

Product Development & Research

Performing thorough literature review of Raw materials to assess viability and safety.
Procuring all input materials and intermediates necessary for Formulation & Development trials.
Leading new product development projects and actively seeking improvement in the quality of existing products.
Conducting and submitting In-Use stability protocols and reports.

Documentation & Technology Transfer

Maintaining meticulous documentation of the entire product development cycle.
Successfully managing technology transfer from F&D scale to the Pilot or commercial batch level.
Preparing and submitting required Regulatory documents.

Quality, Compliance & Cross-functional Support

Ensuring strict adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GDP (Good Documentation Practices), along with overall Regulatory compliance.
Handling and investigating customer complaints.
Liaising with the marketing department to gather feedback on new or improved products.
Providing guidance and support to the research team at KLM Laboratories Pvt. Ltd.
Constantly engaging in self-improvement to update technical, intellectual, and personnel knowledge under the direction of superior authority.
