Candidate Profile

This role requires substantial experience and specific tenure within the organization:

Qualification: M.Sc. / B. Pharm / M. Pharm
Total Years of Experience: 15 to 20 Years
Experience in Zydus: Minimum 2 Years of prior experience within the Zydus Group (Cadila Healthcare Ltd.) is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities Breakdown

The successful candidate will be a pivotal leader, responsible for both operational excellence and stringent quality compliance.

Operational Management

Supervise daily packaging operations for all solid oral dosage forms (tablets, capsules, etc.).
Ensure that all packaging activities strictly comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Batch Records, and all regulatory mandates.
Monitor and maintain the functional efficiency of packaging equipment and manage materials inventory.

Quality & Compliance (QMS Focus)

Be accountable for the implementation and maintenance of QMS protocols across all packaging activities.
Critically review and approve Batch Packaging Records (BPR) to ensure complete accuracy and compliance.
Manage all quality events, including handling deviations, change controls, CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and investigations into market complaints related to packaging integrity.
Ensure absolute compliance with national and international regulatory standards, including GMP, FDA, and WHO.

Team Leadership & Development

Lead, mentor, and train packaging staff on operational and quality procedures to promote operational excellence.
Conduct performance evaluations and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Documentation & Audits

Maintain meticulous and accurate documentation necessary for internal, regulatory, and client inspections/audits.
Prepare detailed reports on packaging performance, quality metrics, and future improvement plans.
Act as a technical resource, collaborating with QA, QC, Production, and Supply Chain and participating actively in client audits to respond to technical queries.
