The BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), an autonomous body under the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, is recruiting for multiple project-based, short-term positions at its facility in the NCR Biotech Science Cluster, Faridabad.

The available positions range from technical support roles to senior research scientists, with the maximum consolidated monthly emolument being Rs. 1,25,000/-.

4	Project Scientist-I	Rs. 56,000/- + HRA	35 Years	Ph.D. in any branch of Life Sciences.	Wastewater Surveillance of SARS-CoV-2/Emerging Pathogens: Sample collection, characterization, genomic/proteomic analysis, and report writing.
2	Technical Assistant	Rs. 20,000/- + HRA	50 Years	B.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences OR 3-year diploma in Engineering/Technology.	Neonates with/without sepsis (Neo-sepsis program): Preparation of media/reagents, routine microbial culture, and record maintenance.
3	Lab Technician	Rs. 20,000/- + HRA	50 Years	B.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences OR 3-year diploma in Engineering/Technology.	Wastewater Surveillance (INSACOG): Primarily involved in sample collection, media/buffer preparation, microbial culture, and maintaining records.

Note: The maximum emolument of Rs. 1,25,000/- is for the Project Scientist role (S.No. 6), which requires specialized, senior experience in vaccine development.

General Instructions

Temporary Position: All positions are short-term and project-based. Appointees will have no claim for regularization of employment.
Crucial Date: The closing date for online application (1st December 2025) is the date for determining eligibility (age, qualification, experience).
Age Relaxation: Age and other relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PwBD candidates are applicable as per Government of India rules.
Screening: If a large number of applications are received, screening will be done to limit the number of candidates called for the selection process based on higher/relevant qualifications and experience.
