The National Vrkshayuuveda Research Institute (NVARI), renamed Central Ayurveda Research Institute, is dedicated to Ayurvedic research. Its mandates include medico-botanical exploration, supplying genuine raw drug materials for R&D, building medicinal plant repositories, and cultivating medicinal plants.

Position and Project Details

Post: Senior Research Fellow (SRF – Chemistry)
No. of Posts: 01 (One)
Location: Regional Ayurveda Research Institute (RARI), Aamkho, Gwalior (M.P.)
Emoluments (Salary): Rs. 42,000 P.M. + HRA (as per rule)
Duration: Initially for 06 months, likely to be extended up to 2 years and/or co-terminus with the project.
Project Title: Development of Quality standards, Estimation of phytochemical Markers, Shelf-life study, Advanced metabolomic profiling and In-silico Pharmacological activities of Shadangam & Pachanamritham Kwatha Choorna.

Essential and Desirable Eligibility

Essential Qualifications / Experience

Postgraduate degree in Chemistry or M.Pharm. with Pharmaceutical Chemistry from a recognized University/Institution.
Two years of experience in the field of research and development.

Age Limit

Not exceeding 35 years as on 01/01/2025 (Age relaxation admissible for reserved categories as per Central Govt. rules).

Desirable Qualifications (Preference will be given to candidates with):

Higher qualification in a relevant subject.
Hands-on experience with instruments like HPTLC, HPLC, and LC-MS/MS.
Skill in drafting and editing scientific documents / technical reports.
Publication in peer-reviewed journals.
Working knowledge of computers.
